The Bell Tents 

We are so excited to introduce our cosy, luxurious glamping Bell Tents for our visitors!  Our lovely meadow now includes a glamping option for those not wanting to stress of setting up and packing down their own tent with 3 bell tents ready for your stay!

Our new Bell Tents are fully furnished with double beds and cosy bedding for the ultimate comfy camping trip. 
We have 2 x 5 meter tents which can sleep up to 4  guests and our 6 meter tent which can sleep up to 6 guests. Great for families or if you are camping with a group.
Each tent has its own wooden bench and fire pit outside ready for you to soak up the views and sunsets!  

The Location

In the heart of East Devon, Pithead Campsite is perfectly located to visit the many attractions in Devon.  Whether visiting the dramatic and beautiful moors of Dartmoor or one of the gorgeous beaches of the Jurassic Coast,  everything you need for some time getting back to nature is just on the doorstep...

We also have some fabulous eateries close by too! There are plenty of pubs, farm shops and delicious local takeaways if you fancy a night off cooking...

* Please help us help the environment by keeping to the paths and leaving the site litter free.

We feel that cars spoil the view and atmosphere of the site (not to mention  squashing the meadow) and ask campers to unload at the gate and then park in a separate field, next to the site.
